The more often you process the same or similar experiences this way, the more adept the brain will become at establishing these neurological pathways. Eventually the outcome or response during your daily life becomes habitual and automatic and seemingly beyond your control.
I have used my medical knowledge, recent research and experience of working with patients and clients over a 35 year period to create the RESCQ Training Programme which can help you achieve change at 3 levels. The first is to teach you how to use a simple but powerful process which with practice will help to literally change the neurological pathways associated with the patterns which have kept you stuck. The second level is to help you identify the most suitable strategies which can be applied to diffferent aspects of your everday life in order to maintain positivity and wellbeing. The last, and this might take a little longer to achieve, is for the change to become ‘inner directed’ and authentic.
The training is spread over three days so that you have an opportunity to experience and calibrate the positive changes that you want more of in your life. This results in a ‘feed-forward loop’ which gives you an incentive to put the process and strategies into practice until the positive outcomes become habitual and automatic.
In summary the training gives you a great opportunity to change limiting, destructive or unhelpful habits and more importantly keep that change. All you need is the desire for change, the commitment to do the work and to put into practice what you learn.
What should you expect from the training program?
You will be working with a small group of fellow trainees with similar issues. I will provide you with the coaching you will need whilst you learn the new skills. Applying the process and achieving change will increase the confidence in your ability to succeed.
Day 1: begins at 9:30am and finishes about 2:30. During this time you will have:
- Identified your own personal goals
- Recognised which factors are contributing to your current condition and more importantly which ones you can influence and will be responsible for changing with help.
- Learned the basics of the RESCQ 5-Step Process and how and when to use this to achieve change quickly and easily.
- Learned how to manage any psychological issues such as ambivalence, stress, anxiety etc
Day 2: begins at 9:30am and finishes about 2:30. During this time you will have:
- Identified positive changes as a result of using the RESCQ 5-Step Process.
- Reported any difficulties and learn how to manage these.
- Recognised any negative expectations or behavioural patterns that may have sabotaged change in the past; and how to manage these.
- Identified which activities come naturally to you and/or you find most enjoyable and interesting and start to create a strategy which will deliver the benefits more frequently.
- Had a further opportunity to practice the RESCQ 5-Step Process.
- Understood the need to practice what you have learnt and recognised that both the quality and quantity of practice are important.
Day 3 begins at 9:30am and finishes at 12:30. During this time you will have:
- Reported on positive changes you have experienced since day 2 of the training
- Reported on any difficulties and learn how to manage these
- Recognised that by practising the new skills you will become conscious of the learning process and how to optimise it for maximum results.
- Created a vision of what your life will be like when you can just ‘be’ what you want.
- Started to look forward to further positive changes and decided on which type of follow up will suit you best (phone call or face-to-face).

What is expected from you to achieve success?
Your brain has an unlimited capacity to learn and be creative, but a limited ability to focus. However there are no panaceas. Learning the new process is not hard. Like any training programme it requires an investment in open-mindedness, a commitment to learning and practicing the new process in order to achieve the long term benefits. You need to consider the advantages of undertaking the training and taking responsibility for delivering the changes which you want in your life. What steps do you need to take?
Step 1:
Read the application/booking form for the training programme. If you are sure you are ready to do the training then complete the application and send it with your cheque to the address on the form. Look for information about dates of the next training programme (on home page) and list your preference.
Step 2:
We will endeavour to call you within a few days of receiving your application. After this we will confirm your place on the training programme. A mutually convenient date will be offered if your initial preference is unavailable. Remember the dates will include 3 days. A follow up is recommended at a mutually convenient time.
