Or perhaps you are just sceptical about the value of learning how to be happier in life – whatever the circumstances. In January 2011 the BBC ran a series of programmes highlighting the growing evidence about how we can all learn to raise our levels of happiness. Many people were astounded by how easy it was to integrate and practice simple changes in their daily routine and reap amazing benefits. I have utilised this evidence so that you too can create a personal recipe for a more enjoyable life. Please contact us by email or phone for further details.
If this has been your experience and you really want to change direction, see the problem from a different perspective and then focus on new and appealing solutions, I would recommend the RESC-Q weekend training programme. This can be an effective way of helping you manage even chronic debilitationg conditions such as Chronic Fatigue Syndromme, anxiety or OCD. During the training you will learn how to put a stop to the ‘runaway train’ of unwanted feelings and behaviours and get back in control of your life. More than this you will find out what will help you personally achieve the positive changes you want and with practice keep them. Please contact us for further details.

These include: Anxiety with or without Panic Disorder, Depression and OCD
Anxiety is characterised by feelings of apprehension and worry, spontaneous panic attacks (see below), irritability, poor quality sleep and poor concentration. Anxiety disorders are common, chronic, the cause of considerable distress and disability, and are often unrecognised and untreated.
Depression includes a number of associated mental symptoms characterised by the absence of a positive affect, low mood and a range of emotional, cognitive, physical and behavioural symptoms. Typically the mood and affect are unreactive to circumstances, remaining flat throughout the day. Others experience a gradual improvement through the day with a return to low mood on waking the following day.
Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder is a common mental illness which can result in considerable distress and sometimes shame which can delay the diagnosis and the provision of effective management.
NLP is about understanding and modeling the structure of personal success and excellence. It is based on how rather than why people think and behave in a particular way or pattern. Because modeling successful performance can lead to excellence, NLP has helped people achieve success in fields as diverse as health and wellbeing, education, sport and management. NLP comes from the three areas it brings together:
I think the answer depends on you, what your issues are and what you want. For many people NLP and Hypnotherapy can be of great value in helping them make major shifts in their experience quickly and comfortably.
Some of the reasons why I find a combined approach is helpful are that:
For many of the issues mentioned in the top right panel an initial one-to-one session may help us to identify which is the best way of managing the change you want.
